Using micro-radar technology licensed from Ohio State, the TegoSens System non- invasively assesses thoracic fluid levels in heart failure (HF) patients by analyzing EM wave reflections and their interaction with body tissues both in clinical settings and at home.

TegoSens integrates TR&D3’s computational methods, specifically probabilistic modeling techniques for estimating tissue permittivity, to optimize RF imaging and fluid detection capabilities.

SP12 can commercialize more precise noninvasive measurements of real-
time lung fluid to guide interventions to reduce hospital readmissions and improve outcomes.
