The mDOT Center strives to make its resources available to the mHealth community. By sharing knowledge, technology, collaboration opportunities, the Center aims to catalyze innovation, drive progress, and ultimately improve healthcare outcomes through the power of mobile health technology. This collaborative approach not only benefits individual projects but also contributes to the collective growth and evolution of the mHealth ecosystem.

The mDOT Center has developed cutting-edge technologies and tools specifically tailored for mHealth applications. By providing access to these technologies, the mDOT Center hopes to enable mHealth researchers and practitioners to leverage state-of-the-art solutions and streamline their development processes.

By sharing our research expertise and findings, we hope to accelerate the advancement of mHealth, contribute to evidence-based practices, and ultimately drive improvements in healthcare outcomes.

The mDOT Center was first established in 2020 through a $5.9 million grant awarded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to combat the nation’s growing public health issues through the development and advancement of AI-powered mobile health. The mDOT Center recently received $1M to continue operating as a national biomedical technology resource center (BTRC) at the University of Memphis for its third consecutive year. As part of the renewal process, the mDOT Center submits annual reports at the end of each year to provide a summary of research progress.
