Explore the 2025 mHealth Training Institute Lectures – A Decade of Knowledge Now Online

The 2025 mHealth Training Institute (mHTI) has concluded, and we’re thrilled to announce that lectures from the latest session are now available online. This initiative supports the mDOT Center’s mission to train the next generation of mHealth researchers, providing access to cutting-edge methodologies, research, and practical guidance for the mHealth community.

Making these lectures freely available online offers significant benefits. Researchers, students, and practitioners worldwide can now access high-quality training without geographic or scheduling barriers. The online format ensures knowledge is persistent, accessible, and easily integrated into ongoing learning or institutional curricula, helping advance the adoption of mDOT Center technologies and methods.

A highlight of the 2025 sessions was the focus on generative AI in adaptive interventions, emphasizing how AI can predict, personalize, and optimize mHealth solutions. Notable lectures included LLMs Unplugged: Simplifying Generative AI for mHealth Innovation by Dr. Ben Marlin (UMass, TR&D1/TR&D2) and Advancing Mobile Health with Foundational AI Architectures by Dr. Jim Rehg (UIUC, Deputy Center Director, TR&D1 Lead). These sessions provided practical insights into applying advanced AI methods for real-world mHealth challenges.

For those eager to explore more, the mHTI archive offers a decade’s worth of lectures, alongside nearly 60  freely available webinars. These resources (over 200 hours of content) provide unparalleled opportunities for professional development, knowledge sharing, and staying current on innovations in mobile health research.
